Drilling Consultant Services Pty Ltd, was established on Remembrance Day 2011 – 11/11/11 as a consultancy business specializing in the Australian Oil & Gas sector. Managing director, David Sturrock started in the drilling industry in 1999 and has been involved in both onshore & offshore drilling projects throughout Australia.

David is a professional well site supervisor with 15 years 'hands-on' experience in the Australian onshore and offshore Oil & Gas industry. His expertise covers all areas of drilling and well intervention in Oil, Natural Gas, Shale Gas and Coal Seam methane production. He currently heads a team of

independent consultants providing drilling, HSE, recruitment, logistics, petroleum engineering and project management services to the Australian Oil and Gas industry. In 2014, DCS also expanded it services to include a transport division focussed on insuring that all legislative requirements are met and to maintaining a position of excellence in the oil and gas haulage sector. DCS transport division’s objective is to hire trucks and trailers that will satisfy the specific requirements of the client.

Founding director, Felicity Ashbeck is DCS’s Administration and HR Account Manager. She has over 11 years experience in company

management and focuses on details as well as goal-driven results. She brings the financial aspect together with the daily attention necessary that combined, creates a thriving, growing business.
